We can’t jump off bridges anymore because our iPhones will get ruined. We can’t take skinny dips in the ocean, because there’s no service on the beach and adventures aren’t real unless they’re on Instagram. Technology has doomed the spontaneity of adventure and we’re helping destroy it every time we Google, check-in, and hashtag. – Jeremy Glass, We Can’t Get Lost Anymore (via wethinkwedream)

Otoke.

My heart feels so heavy.

Do you know what I’ve been doing these past days? Since Wednesday, I’ve been watching We Got Married. It’s a Korean variety show in which two famous people pretend their married and go through hardships to be married.

Out of all the couples, I chose Yonghwa and…

and the magic I found two years ago never wanes… :)

There’s a poem in my head
like too many cups of coffee.
a pea under twenty eiderdowns.
a sadness in my heart like stone.
a telephone. and always my
night madness that outs like bats
across this Texas sky.

I’m the crazy lady they warned you about.
the she of rumor talked about-
and worse, who talks.

its no secret.
I’m here. under a circle of light.
the light always on, resisting a glass,
an easy cigar. the kind

who reels the twilight sky.
swoop circling.
im witch woman high
on tobacco and holy water.

i’m a woman delighted with her disasters.
they give me something to do.
a profession of sorts.
keeps me industrious
and of some serviceable use.

What to do with this grief today? I don’t know what good is sadness unless we stand still with it, hold it under the tongue, savor it, and say to ourselves, “Here I am, if I had any doubt at all, here I am. – Sandra Cisneros from her April 14, 2011 letter (via popca)
Say my name. Say it.
The way it’s supposed to be said.
I want to know that I knew you even before I knew you.

And love, that rude religion, is neither diffident, correct, nor safe. Sandra Cisneros (via wandering-street-radio)
Love, I don’t know
how you suddenly grew lovely,
why I never noticed last
summer, nor the summers before
when the hard sun died
anything before it bloomed.
